About The First- Class Edit

The distinction of The First-Class Edit lies in my educational background. I have first-hand experience achieving academic success at almost every level. I gained 11 A* GCSE grades before completing A levels in Chemistry, Biology, and History (all at grade A/A*). Following this, I attained a first-class BA in History from the University of Durham and a Master's from St Edmund's College Cambridge.
I completed a second Master's degree in Education with funding from the Great Schools Trust while teaching full-time in a secondary school in the North-West, prior to which, I worked at the Multidisciplinary Publishing Institute as an editor. I edited hundreds of academic papers for open-access journals, including research papers contributing to viable COVID-19 vaccinations funded by the Gates Foundation.
I have conducted research and edited copy for some of the UK's largest media outlets, including The Times, The High Fliers Research Institute, and various UK magazines. I have also presented and multiple educational conferences including Research ED.
Over the years I have edited academic articles for publication, Master's theses, undergraduate dissertations, university essays, personal statements, UCAS admissions questions, CVs, cover letters, book chapters, and much more. With many years of experience in education and publishing, I am well-placed to help people achieve their career goals - you do not have to do it alone!
I began The First-Class Edit after working in both publishing and education for ten years. I use my experience in both industries to help students achieve their academic potential.
